Hat Trick @ The Biggest NYS Beer Competition Ever
The 1st New York Craft Beer Competition was organized by the New York State Brewers Association and the Raise A Glass Foundation. It featured 40 professional beer judges, brewery owners, brewers, professors and bar owners. New York state has over 354 breweries and the number is growing every year. There were 707 beer entries and 143 breweries in this competition, making it the second largest statewide competition in the country. War Horse Brewing was awarded a gold for Lieutenant Dan (in the pale ale category), a silver for The Big Broadcast (in the double IPA category), and a bronze for Tarty McFly (in the sour and wild ale category).
